Princeton Carbon Wheelset Disc Dual 5550 DT Swiss 240 EXP

The Dual 5550 ushers in a new era for Princeton CarbonWorks with a dedicated all-road wheelset designed for life on and off the tarmac with wider tires. The Dual 5550 was born when a better wheel was needed for Paris Roubaix 2021. The goal was to develop a lightweight and stable rim that is aerodynamically optimized for 30 to 32 mm wide tires. With an internal width of 22 mm, the Dual 5550 is a hooked tubeless rim that offers riders the greatest flexibility in tire choice and pressure. From 28 mm clincher tires with tubes and higher pressure to 50 mm knobby tubeless tires with very low pressure, the Dual 5550 can be used in any terrain and on any surface. In addition to the rim and disc brake options, the Dual 5550 is available in tubeless clincher and tubular styles, all with Princeton Carbonworks' signature hoelless tire bed for an optimal riding experience and maximum stiffness. The Hooked rims offer the widest choice of tires without maximum tire pressure, as well as the option to run both classic tubular and tubeless.

At Princeton Carbonworks, uncompromising performance is a core design tenet, and the Dual 5550 is not only ready for the toughest road and trail conditions, but with a rim weight of under 500g and a complete wheelset weight with disc brakes of just 1440g. The Dual 5550 is available now in matte black, matte white, bright chrome and bright gold, with a choice of White Industries, Tune, Industry Nine, CarbonTi, Chris King, DT Swiss and Tactic Racing. Laced with Sapim CX-Ray spokes and Sapim SecureLock nipples.

The wheelsets are supplied with 2 padded Princeton Carbonworks wheel bags, tubeless valves as well as skewers and brake pads for rim brakes.
