OPENCycle OPEN U.P.PER. 2.0 Disc Frameset Black

The latest generation of the UPPER. adds more speed, even crisper handling and more tire clearance (up to 46 mm actual width) to its already legendary comfort and robustness.

Now more than ever, it's THE gravel frame that can keep up with the roadies on tarmac and take off when the roads get bumpy.

The ultra-lightweight cockpit offers 15 mm of micro stem length adjustment in 5 mm increments, while the size-specific design of the frame and aero fork ensures the best experience regardless of the rider's height.

The UPPER. 2.0 is painted in carbon black with a forest green down tube patch. The CHASSIS includes frame, fork, headset, seatpost and the integrated one-piece handlebar/stem connection OPEN BAR.

RRTP (Raw-Ready-To-Paint)
A clear coat is not required to protect against UV radiation, but is recommended to protect against scratches and wear. Some customers leave the frame untreated.

Recommended groupsets
For demanding gravel and off-road riding (regardless of brand), we always recommend the use of a rear derailleur with clutch or cage damper for the necessary chain management. The UP(PER.) 2.0 is compatible with:

Shimano GRX 1x: 52 teeth (Shimano offers up to 46 teeth, aftermarket aero rings from WolfTooth, for example, are available up to 52 teeth)
SRAM AXS 1x: 52T (SRAM offers up to 50T, aftermarket aero rings from WolfTooth, for example, are available up to 52T)
Shimano GRX 2x: all cranksets (maximum offered: 48-31 teeth)
SRAM AXS 2x: all cranksets (maximum offered up to 50-37T)
Note: Oval standard rings generally fit two teeth further than their round counterparts (e.g. an oval ring with 42 teeth fits like a round ring with 44 teeth). The delta is larger for strongly ovalized rings.
