Tested in the wind tunnel

The life of a wheelset like the Reserve 42|49 begins with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), with the aim of maximizing aerodynamics while optimizing stability. Reserve 's exclusive wind tunnel testing then provides data that focuses on simulating real-world airflow, allowing us to confirm performance targets in a sterile and controlled environment. In the end, Reserve has created one of the most stable and aerodynamic wheelsets ever.

Robust AND light

Optimizing the strength and weight of our rims is a comprehensive process that begins in our carbon lab in Santa Cruz, California. Not only do we work on the development of the carbon layup, but we have also developed our own test protocol to simulate real impacts and spoke loads on the wheels. This enables us to define the exact fiber orientation for each rim model to maximize stiffness and strength.
