The brand new HB18 not only reduces the weight of the R5 by almost 150 g, but also improves aerodynamics by two watts compared to the previous model. Thanks to the knowledge gained from developing the S5 handlebar, we have created a comfortable, fast, and stiff handlebar—ideal for long days in the saddle and hard battles to the finish line.
We know that the perfect riding position is crucial to unlocking the full potential of the bike. That's why we've developed 15 different cockpit variants with different stem lengths and handlebar widths. Your authorized Cervélo dealer will of course be happy to help you find the optimal setting when purchasing an R5—free of charge.
All handlebar sizes are UCI-compliant, also with regard to the latest rule change.
