The new Super Record 13 groupset redefines shifting on the road with unprecedented speed and near-silent precision. Compact design, advanced technology and high-quality materials ensure high performance in all conditions. A long range, fast charging times and intelligent connectivity characterize the Super Record platform, which is tailored to the different needs of the rider.
Description
The new Super Record 13 groupset has been completely redesigned for this generation and redefines the standard of road shifting. Optimized for an absolutely fluid, immediate and fast transition between ratios even under load, it uses a new and optimized shift path that increases efficiency across the entire range of sprockets. As a result, it shifts faster than any other 12-speed system currently available, despite the introduction of an additional sprocket.
The new architecture of the rear derailleur, with optimized positioning under the sprocket set, contributes to even more essential aesthetics, improves aerodynamics and ensures perfect alignment of pulleys and ratios. The result is a particularly quiet, precise and reliable shifting process, even on uneven terrain.
The two 14-tooth pulleys have a differentiated profile that is optimized for perfect chain shifting in every pedalling phase. The upper pulley has ceramic bearings that ensure absolutely fluid and friction-free shifting, while the lower pulley ensures strength and durability. The cage is compatible with sprockets from 10 or 11 teeth up to a maximum of 36 teeth and allows a wide range of gear ratios for every type of route and riding style.
Mounting options are available: direct mounting with the universal derailleur hanger (UDH) from Campagnolo or with classic links for conventional frames. The rear derailleur is powered by a (removable) battery that guarantees a range of up to 750 km. Charging is ultra-fast: it only takes 60 minutes to reach 100% of the charging capacity. The charge status can be easily monitored via the integrated LED, the MyCampy app or directly from the bike computer. The USB-C port ensures maximum compatibility with modern charging devices, including the smartphone, which can be used as a power bank in an emergency.
The design also reflects the excellence of Campagnolo: the inner cage and the front are made of carbon and have a finish produced directly by mould casting, while the aluminium components are anodized after laser engraving. Even the brand inscription on the gearbox is an expression of the brand's extensive know-how when it comes to skillfully processing and accentuating materials and achieving aesthetic essentiality in design.
