Product description
The brand new Áspero-5 has been developed for the top of the race - and is the most aerodynamic gravel bike ever built. Cervélo has always stood for aerodynamic excellence and we have now transferred this 30 years of experience to gravel racing.
The new bike is an impressive 37 watts faster than the previous model - and 34 watts faster than the nearest competitor. With room for 45 mm wide tires, an integrated storage space in the down tube and a threaded bottom bracket, the Áspero-5 is ready to race. The Áspero-5 made its debut in the rainbow jersey under UCI gravel world champion Marianne Vos and is ridden by some of the best cyclists in the world.
The Áspero-5 is 37 watts faster than its predecessor and 34 watts faster than the nearest competitor. Cervélo has always been a leader in aerodynamics - and with the Áspero-5 we have created a gravel road bike that lives up to this reputation. The aerodynamically optimized handlebar with stem alone saves almost 6 watts.
The new Áspero-5 is 66 grams lighter than its predecessor - even though it has significantly more surface area for improved aerodynamics.
With tires of the same width (e.g. 42 mm front and rear), the Áspero-5 offers stable, confidence-inspiring handling - perfect for the toughest trails. For even more aerodynamics and a more direct ride feel on less technical courses, the geometry has also been optimized for a tire width difference of 4 mm (e.g. 40 mm front, 44 mm rear).
First introduced on the P-Series triathlon bike, we have now integrated our industry-leading downtube storage solution into the Áspero-5. It's the lightest and most aerodynamically efficient system on the market - and stores your tube, tools and puncture kit directly in the frame, protected from wind and weather.
