In developing Aerothane Tubes, we broke new ground right from the start. The result is a high-end alternative to conventional bicycle tubes. The Aerothan is a tube of the next generation, which sets completely new standards in weight, puncture resistance, riding characteristics, ease of assembly and pack size. AEROTHANE IS 100% RECYCLABLE
Aerothane Tubes are made of 100% thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) (including valve) and are therefore fully recyclable. Like all Schwalbe tubes, Aerothane Tubes can be easily and free of charge returned to Schwalbe through the tube recycling program. The material from the used tubes is reprocessed and then reused as a sealant or insulation material.
