The new KEO BLADE CARBON is designed to win and improves the experience of spring blade technology in clipless pedals. This new version is the result of the experience of many years of technical development in our factory and constant improvements in daily contact with the greatest cycling champions.

The new KEO BLADE CARBON is lightweight, aerodynamic, powerful and has all the advantages that allow you to improve your performance and optimize it to victory. That's why many cycling champions unanimously chose the KEO BLADE CARBON as their bike of choice, using it as a weapon, so to speak, to achieve their greatest victories with it.

The KEO BLADE CARBON thus benefits from the best weight / power ratio in its category.

The spring blade is fully integrated into the new design, which thus guarantees unsurpassed aerodynamics. The Blade Carbon, with body and spring leaf in carbon, is available in version Ti (with titanium axle) and a weight of only 95 g per pedal or in version Cr (axle in chromoly +) with 110 g per pedal. It is available in two release hardnesses: 8 and 12 Nm.

OPTIMIZED AXLE LINE GREATER POWER TRANSMISSION AND RELIABILITY
The axle line of the new BLADE CARBON has been completely rethought. It was built around an oversized axle and a cross-section axle line consisting of an internally positioned ball bearing and centered sleeve needle bearings under the bearing surface. This new design allows approximately 2 watts to be gained at 100 rpm.

The distance between the ball bearing and the sleeve needle bearing has been increased by 25%. This provides more stiffness throughout the axle line and consequently improves power transmission.

Particular attention has also been paid to tightness. This has been improved by 120% for increased reliability and durability. To this end, the new axle line has a new cover with O-ring at its outer end. It is equipped with an internally positioned double lip seal.

LOOK axles are released only after a rotation test of 2 million cycles at 100 rpm with a load of 90 kg at the center of the pedal and an eccentric rotation (causing a shock at each revolution). This is equivalent to Mark Cavendish sprinting at 1,700 watts at 100 rpm for 333 hours! This test goes far beyond the applicable EN 14781 standard.

SUPER STRONG SUPPORT SURFACE
To meet the needs of the most demanding riders - namely competitors - the pedal and cleat system must allow efficient power transmission with a large and rigid contact surface.

The contact surface of the BLADE CARBON is provided with a 67 mm wide mounted and molded plate in stainless steel. It optimizes the contact areas pedal plate / pedal for each pedal angle.

With a contact area of 700 mm², the BLADE CARBON offers an optimized contact area for efficient power transmission that is unparalleled on the market.

Its weight/performance ratio performs significantly better than the competition.

CARBON TECHNOLOGY IN PEDAL BODY AND SPRING BLADE
