How to use
Melt Hyper in a wax melter at 75-85 degrees Celsius. Make sure the drivetrain is completely degreased and dry. Immerse the chain in the liquid wax for at least 15 minutes, slowly pull the chain out of the wax and allow it to cool to room temperature. Move each link of the chain so that it can move freely. Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth to remove excess wax from the chain. Refit the chain to the bike and you're ready to ride.
The waxed chain runs in during the first 5 km on the bike, excess wax is pressed out of the chain and the wax layer is optimized. Wax flakes that fall off the chain during this process can be removed with a clean and dry microfiber cloth.
To clean between wax applications, pull the chain through a clean, dry cloth. Use a clean and dry brush to remove wax residue from other drive components.
Apply the wax when the chain sounds "dry" by repeating the steps of the application described above. The waxed chain can be cleaned and dipped directly into the liquid wax without the need to degrease it again.
After 10-15 applications, the wax should be replaced to prevent contamination from affecting drivetrain efficiency and wear.
