COMPOUND – SMARTEVO
The new SmartEVO compound uses a blend of three different polymers, each of which contributes its own specific property, while at the same time guaranteeing a perfect balance of actually opposite properties: the goal for every rubber engineer. To complete this project in this way, Pirelli used its extraordinary experience, which it has gained in over 100 years of motorsport, and its enormous know-how from cycling. Our in-depth knowledge and chemical expertise have enabled Pirelli's materials engineers and chemists to use this ternary polymer blend in a way that is so advanced as to ensure "intelligent" behavior that characterizes the outstanding properties of the SmartEVO compound. Perfect grip whether wet or dry, paired with low rolling resistance. A performance package suited to all modern road disciplines and surfaces, from local or World Tour racing to epic adventures where climate and road surfaces require tires that perform under all circumstances.
CARCASSES
The new SpeedCORE carcass consists of a thin, airtight layer with a rubber compound of aramid particles that covers the inner part of the tire. The large and high & flexibility of the rubber compound makes the tire faster and more supple, while the aramid particles provide a better puncture layer.
The carcass is completed by a nylon weave and an aramid breaker, while the tread pattern uses Pirelli's most advanced compound, the SmartEVO, to achieve the highest performance.
All special features of the new P ZERO Race TLR are made in Italy and offer unique quality and outstanding performance.

P ZERO™ Race TLR 28-622 and P ZERO™ Race TLR 30-622 are compatible with ETRTO hookless rims up to a maximum tire pressure of 5 bar/73 psi.
P ZERO™ Race TLR 24-622 and P ZERO™ Race TLR 26-622 are NOT compatible with hookless rims.
