The Empire™ W E70 Knit features our patented Xnetic™ Knit upper designed specifically for cycling, a TPU skeletal system and an engineered nylon core that provides the support you need to get the most out of your pedal stroke. Everything stays airy and supple while providing sock-like comfort. EASTON® ENGINEERED OUTSOLE PLATES
Lighter, stiffer and more comfortable. Giro uses the know-how of carbon specialist Easton® in the development of the outsole. The result is a sole with maximum stiffness without increasing weight or sacrificing comfort and fit, precisely in line with the requirements of professional riders. Each sole has been designed with respect to ideal stiffness in the toe, arch and heel areas. The soles have the lowest possible overall height (6.5 mm in the area of the pedal plate threads, otherwise flatter). This extremely low sole profile allows a flat, seamless transition between shoe and sole without compromising fit. The upper can adapt perfectly to the foot without restriction. The neutral platform supports the natural position of the foot when pedaling. Easton Carbon outsole, you get a high-performance combination that also goes a step ahead in the design of cycling shoes.
