COMPOUND — SMARTEVO

The new SmartEVO compound uses a blend of three different polymers, each of which contributes its own specific property while at the same time guaranteeing a perfect balance of opposing properties: the goal for every rubber technician. To complete this project, Pirelli drew on its exceptional experience gained in over 100% of motorsport and the vast know-how from cycling. Our in-depth knowledge and chemical expertise have enabled the material engineers and chemists at Pirelli to use this ternary polymer blend in such an advanced way that it ensures the kind of intelligent behavior that is characteristic of the outstanding properties of the SmartEVO compound. Perfect grip, whether wet or dry, paired with low rolling resistance. A performance package that is suitable for all modern road and surface disciplines, from local or World Tour races to epic adventures where climate and road surfaces require tires that perform in all conditions.

CARCASS

The new SpeedCORE carcass consists of a thin, airtight layer with a rubber compound of aramid particles covering the inner part of the tire. The large and high flexibility of the rubber compound makes the tire faster and smoother, while the aramid particles provide a better puncture resistance.

The carcass is completed by a nylon fabric and an aramid breaker, while the tread pattern uses the most advanced compound from Pirelli, the SmartEVO, to achieve the highest performance.

All the special features of the new P ZERO Race TLR are made in Italy and offer unique quality and outstanding performance.

P ZEROв "ў Race TLR 28-622 and P ZEROв "ў Race TLR 30-622 are compatible with hookless rims according to ETRTO up to a maximum of 5 bar/73 psi tire pressure.

P ZEROв "ў Race TLR 24-622 and P ZEROв "ў Race TLR 26-622 are NOT compatible with hookless rims.
