Easton's new AX series handlebars meet the needs of the growing gravel segment.
Building on the highly successful and critically acclaimed line of new MCD road handlebars and EA70 and EC70 AX handlebars, the same tip shape and reach and ergonomic shape is used, but the shape is rotated up from 4 degrees to 16 degrees. The wider stance in the drops provides more control on uneven terrain and long gravel sections.
Why 16 degrees? Based on extensive testing and rider feedback, we determined that 16 degrees is the perfect balance of maximum handlebar deflection that still allows for efficient access and use of the shifters and brakes in both the hoods and drops.
